Our lady of Assumption Secondary school, Federal Housing Estate Trans-Nkisi G.R.A. 3-3 Onitsha, a growing institution stand on two strong footing, namely: the church and the people of God.

Originally, it had only the Nursery and Primary schools. But, due to the persistent yearning desire of the parents and the community to establish and direct a catholic secondary school in the community which hither to, was non-existent, the secondary school took off on Monday 13th September, 2013 with few students that passed out of the primary section. Today, the school has junior secondary school one (1) to three (3) and senior secondary school one (1) to three (3) respectively.

The school is located at No 3 Lumen Christi close Federal Housing Estate, 3-3 Onitsha. The topography of the school land is plane. All the access roads to the school is motor able throughout the year. The school is located in a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Moreover, what makes the school outstanding is its academic performance and discipline which no other school around has ever tried to measure up to fifty percent. The school has within three years got government approval, Junior WAEC approval, upgrading approval, senior WAEC and NECO approval.

The extra curriculum activities of the school are: Debate team, Press club, Jet and Igbo culture.
